1805 Draped Bust Large Cent, authenticated / graded / encapsulated by NGC as Fine, F details (for environmental damage typical for the Early American era on 100% copper coins).  What history at the time of its minting - Jefferson was President, and the Louisiana Purchase was recently a sealed deal, vastly increasing U.S. territory!  This 1805 cent is in the high range of Fine, with hard-to-find damage from the elements.  The reverse die is rotated counter-clockwise by just about one radial degree.  Best of all - this is no proof coin for sure, but as sometimes happens, the field darkened and the design details brightened with a little wear, creating a beautiful contrast of light features on dark background fields.  The photos show you!  With NGC providing the authentication and grading you need for peace of mind and surety, we offer this
