Description

For sale:
A ready to install,1967 production year, 327 cubic inch, 275 horsepower, numbers matching engine for a Chevy II (Nova) with a 4 speed transmission. This is a very early production engine that is correct for 1967 Chevy II cars starting with the beginning of the 1967 production year and on for several months.   What is unique about this engine is the engine assembly stamping (V0822ZA) is absolutely original and there has never been a VIN derivative stamped on the block.  Very rare.  I know in the Corvette judging world, that is very, very meaningful.  Also note worthy: the 3791362 is a rare block only used in Chevy II cars. There is a standard, one year warranty.
If you are interested, please read the details below.  If you have further questions, please ask.  Please check out the other engines we currently have listed. Finally, if you think this is a lot of money to spend on a correct engine, remember that it will not only increase the value of your car by probably twice this amount, you will have a new engine.  Its a big time win win.

My partner and I are a two man company that provides the correct engines for early Chevrolet restorations. For 30 years we did almost exclusively Corvette engines but have now branched out to the Chevrolet collector and muscle cars of the ‘60s and early ‘70s because of the demand. We are in our early 70s and are supposed to be winding down so we only do 50 or so engines a year. I am a retired mechanical engineer and my partner is a retired dealership service manager. We have both raced Corvettes for 40 plus years and have held several national drag records. We have 200+ blocks stored away in a number of old buildings – enough to keep us busy until we “really” retire. The company name is “HiPerformance Restoration Inc, we incorporated in 1980, we are located in a small Nebraska town near Omaha, and we have shipped engines to most of the Continental United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.  Twenty plus years on ebay without a single negative feedback - not easy in the engine business.
