AMC AMX Javelin Jeep 401 V-8 Longblock Rebuilt. Condition is Remanufactured.
Here is a rebuilt AMC 401 v-8 engine. 1972-up as it has the large bore in the rear crankshaft flange. This engine was cleaned in a hot tank, magnafluxed for cracks, bored .030 and new pistons and rings installed, factory forged steel crankshaft was turned .010 and .010 on the rods and the mains with new bearings, factory forged steel connecting rods were resized and cleaned and checked for cracks. All given a clean bill of health and stock camshaft and timing chain set installed. 401 heads 3210502-2 were cleaned by hot tank, milled .020 and magnafluxed for cracks and then professional valve job completed and all springs checked for spring pressure and either replaced or shimmed and all hardware cleaned and reused.
