    Extremely Rare 1804 Draped Bust Large Cent. Nice planchet, clear date, rim ding on obverse.
    How rare is the 1804? Second rarest Large Cent in this series after the 1899 and I have seen fewer of these than the 99 in my travels.  In fact this is the first 1804 Large Cent I have ever handled in over 2 decades of buying and selling coins.  I have seen a few re-strikes, but RARELY see 1804 original Large Cents.  From a mintage of 96,500 with few survivors.
