    Description

Presented today is this tiny Hopi Kachina doll, depicting
the Hemis Mana Kachina. She is the consort of the Hemis Kachina, who is in charge of the all-important Home Going Dance, which symbolizes all the Kachinas returning to their home in the San Francisco Peaks, from July until the Winter Solstice. Standing a diminutive 4 inches tall, he was carved by Anthony David, of Polacca, around 2000. Anthony was taught the art of carving by his good friend Richard Gorman. This example of his work is part of an immense collection of a world-class collector, and very close friend who has passed away, and she gave me the task of finding new homes for her collection. Buy with confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, complete with return shipping. This is a very nice piece, available at a very reasonable price. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
