    You are bidding on a vintage silver Japanese National Railway Merit Badge. Please closely examine the photos of the merit award and box for condition as this is the exact badge and box you're bidding on.
    This is a post war merit badge, likely from sometime around the 1950s - 1960s. These badges were awarded to employees and directors for long and dedicated service to Japanese National Railway. The merit award is made of silver with white enamel and a gold gilt Japanese Railway symbol (which represents a Locomotive wheel). It has a silver hallmark on the back side.
