Description
Listing is for 2 of my slices of Old Mining Rail with the Gold/Silver Keychains in a Dome Top Wooden Box. I also added one of my .5ml of Montana Gold/Silver Flakes. There not worth a lot but itโs kinda cool. Box size is around 5 inches(L) X 3 inches(H) X 3 inches(W).Keychains are made from 8 pound rail used in Gold and Silver Mines in Montana( Rail weight is measured by the yard, 1 yard or three feet of this is 8 pounds) and was used during the late 1800โs and early 1900โs. I handmade these from a piece of Rail that was manufactured in Colorado in 1881 for the Gold and Silver Mines throughout America. I cut, cleaned it up and made them into these awesome Keychains. They are just under 3/8 inches thick and weight around 1 1/2 ounces. These are something a Railroader, Railroad Fan, Rail Fan or a nice gift for one of them. MADE IN AMERICA. ย Please email if you have any questions or would like more images. I will answer you back just as soon as I can since Iโm a working Railroader myself. I restored these to the actually color when the rail was first made and coated them in penetrating oil. Thank you for looking!
